Unlearning What We Know About the Constitution

There are so many false understandings, interpretations and judicial rulings made quoting the U.S. Constitution that we, as American patriots, must become familiar with so we may hold our elected servants (officials) accountable for their actions, neglect or failure to act to preserve our God given rights.

One of the most used and misunderstood phrases is “the separation of church and state” alleged to be in the 1st Amendment to the U. S. Constitution

The 1st Amendment states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

There has been— and continues to be— an unyielding attempt to take God out of everything.  Yet, it is because of His blessings, and the men and women who followed his morals and teachings through The Bible, that we have the Constitution of the United States today and have lived under its freedom for 232 years and counting.

In fact the Bible was used in our Public schools as a text book for years.
